Roasted Poblano Lime Salsa

  • 3 roasted poblanos, seeded and diced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp minced white onion
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro.
  • 1 avocado, pit removed.
  • 2 tbs water
  • ½ tsp salt


Place poblanos, garlic, onion, cilantro, avocado and salt in a molcajete to be ground into a paste. After the paste is formed add the water and limejuice and continue to mash.
After desired consistence is reached serve with chips and sprinkle with cotija cheese.
