Kobe Pesto Aioli Sliders




  • 1 lb of ground kobe beef
  • 2 vine ripe tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of grated mozzarella
  • 3 – 4 leaves of green leaf lettuce
  • 1 package of slider buns

Pesto Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of pine nuts
  • 1 cup of basil chopped
  • 1/4 cup of parsley chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise


For Pesto Sauce
Take the oil, pine nuts, garlic and cheese and place them in a food processor. Pulse the ingredients until it forms a paste. Add parsley, basil, salt and pepper into the food processor until smooth.

For Pesto Aioli
Once you have your pesto sauce ready, mix 1/4 cup of the pesto and a 1/4 cup of mayonnaise.

For Kobe Burgers
Take the ground kobe beef and form into 2 oz patties. Season patties with salt, pepper, and cracked caraway seeds. Grill patties at about 500° F, flipping them every 2 minutes. Before fully cooked sprinkle the grated mozzarella onto burgers. Spread a generous amount of pesto aioli onto bottom of the bun. Then place the kobe slider on top of the pesto aioli. Add the lettuce and tomato and enjoy.
