Five Spice Turkey Wraps

Turkey filling

  • 2 lbs of ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoon of 5 spice
  • 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup of Shoyu Japanese soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil


  • 1/4 cup of Shoyu Japanese Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Muy Plao
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded mint
  • 1 tablespoon of minced ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sweet rice seasoning


  • 2 bunches of red swiss chard
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 red bell peppers
  • 1 diakon radish root (6 inches)



Place the 2 lbs of ground turkey in a large mixing bowl. Add the 5 spice, garlic, ginger, sea salt, soy sauce, and the chopped green onions to the ground turkey. Using hands to fully incorporate the ground turkey and seasonings. Brown the ground turkey in a sauté pan with sesame oil.


Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk together.


The avocados, bell peppers, and diakon radish root are all cut into thin slices. Once you have these three ingredients cut, cut the stem off the swiss chard and place  2 tablespoons of filling on the chard. Take a few of the avocado, red bell pepper, and diakon radish slices and place them next to the turkey filling. Then, with a spoon, drizzle the sauce on the ingredients. Take the end of the swiss chard and roll up the ingredients into a wrap and serve.
